The self-winding mechanical movement

The sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the impeccable craftsmanship of the Caliber 324 S C self-winding mechanical movement, with sweep seconds hand and date in aperture at 6 o’clock. At the heart of the movement is the patented Patek Philippe Spiromax balance spring in Silinvar.

The Caliber 324 S C is a gem of precision and dependability. Comprised of 217 components, 29 jewels and a 21-carat gold central rotor engraved with the Calatrava Cross.

Each movement exhibits an elaborate manual finissage and is handcrafted to the strict standards of the Patek Philippe Seal – a set of quality criteria set by Patek Philippe, recognized by the entire watchmaking community as the strictest ever compiled. Diameter: 27mm. Height: 3.57mm. Power reserve min. 35 hours – max. 45 hours.

A sleek but complex case

The contemporary 36mm round case is enhanced by highly refined details, prominent yet subtle contours. The bevelled, diamond-set bezel is an intricate construction that echoes the profile of the central bracelet links at 12 and 6 o’clock, accentuating the harmony of the overall design.

The bezel shines with the immaculate sparkle of 160 internally flawless Top Wesselton diamonds. Each and every one is always hand-set. In this case, a two-row configuration of offset stones - a gemsetting technique referred to as ‘Dentelle’.

For the customers who prefer a fine dress watch, the Ref. 7300/1201R in rose gold is also adorned with a further 13 diamonds on the crown and a double row of 248 diamonds on the bracelet a total of about 1.88 carats.

The slightly domed sapphire-crystal glass further emphasizes the sculpted profile of the case. The case, bezel and bracelet are hand polished by skilled craftsmen, a highly intricate task given the complexity of the case form.

A pure and legible dial

The dial of the Twenty~4 Automatic defines its assertive personality, with a pure and readily legible design. All five ladies watches feature dials with 18K gold applied Arabic numerals, hour makers and aperture frame at 6 o’clock, along with diamond-polished baton-shaped hour and minute hands. The numerals and hands are coated with a white Superluminova luminescent coating for improved legibility. The dials are perfected with a lightly rounded sapphire-crystal case glass.

The steel watches are available in two dial colors that bestow each model with its own style: sunburst blue (Ref. 7300/1200A-001) or sunburst gray, delicately graded from the centre (Ref. 7300/1200A-010).

The rose gold watches are also available in two color combinations: a gradated sunburst chocolate brown dial (Ref. 7300/1200R-001) or a silver gray dial decorated with a double vertical horizontal satin finish, reminiscent of the texture of wild Shantung silk (Ref. 7300/1200R-010).

A unique and elegant bracelet

The Twenty~4 Automatic bracelet adopts the aesthetic of the rectangular bracelet of the original collection created in 1999. The bracelet features gently cambered central links, framed by delicate two-tier outside links. With a supple fit, unique and elegant it gently follows the contours of a woman’s wrist smoothly and comfortably.

The delicate bracelets are assembled and mirror-polished by hand with each link catching the light to reveal the beauty and essence of the materials. The rounded edges ensures the final bracelet gives a fluid, cosseting feel against the skin.

The Ref. 7300/1201R watch in rose gold is also adorned with a double row of 248 diamonds on the bracelet (~1.88 carats). Each diamond is always set by hand, by skilled craftsmen.

The Art of Gemsetting

The Twenty~4 Automatic is also presented in a stunning jewelry watch. The stylish design of this collection is celebrated with the Ref. 7300/1450r, resplendent in rose gold and shining with the sparkle of 3,238 paved top Wesselton pure white diamonds.

Using the “random” or “snow” setting technique 2490 diamonds adorn the bracelet, 384 diamonds on the 18k gold dial plate, 13 diamonds on the crown, and 351 diamonds case with the total weight of ~17.21 carats.

This reference in particular, celebrates the steady hand and quality of the gemsetter’s art and the rigourous standards of the Patek Philippe Seal. Using internally flawless top wesselton diamonds the gemsetter marks the placement of the stones and prepares the guide holes. By making a depression with a ball burr, the gemsetter prepares the bed for the stone. The metal is then worked with the graver, raising it into beads or grains. These tiny amounts of metal will hold the stone firmly in place. When the stone is positioned, the grain is split, and the separated sections grip the adjacent stone on either side. The grain is then rounded, polished, and any rough edges smoothed. All by hand, of course.
