Best Seats For a Concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The most common seating layout at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 101, Section 102 and Section 103. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Seating - RateYourSeats.com (2)

On the Field: Sections Floor A, Floor B, Floor C and Floor D are Field Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, field sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the field layout and the views from each field section.

To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Club 108, Club 109 and Club 129. The view is not head-on like on the field, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Seating - RateYourSeats.com (3)

Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 117, Section 118, Section 119 and Section 120 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.

Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.

Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets

Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 101, Section 102, Section 103 and Section 104. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.

If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider field seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst field ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.

Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections Club 112 and Club 126 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 310 and 311.

Other Popular Seating Areas

  • 200 Level Baseline (Basketball) Seating

The 200 Level Baseline seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are the only baseline seating on the 200 level at the stadium. The seats will be behind the basket, but with the elevated viewing angle, the sight lines are not as bad as they are in lower sections. If you don't want to be directly behind the basket avoid sitting in section 224. Instead, we recommend sitting in sections 222 or 226, as they are closer to the corner sections.

  • 200 Level Corner (Basketball) Seating

The 200 Level Corner seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium might offer the best value out of any 200 level seating areas. Although they're not located along the sidelines, these corner sections still offer great views and some of the most comfortable sight lines in the stadium.

The views in each section are going to be pretty comparable, but we recommend sitting in sections 22-226, as they are close to an open-access lounge area.

  • 200 Level Sideline (Basketball) Seating

The 200 Level Sideline seats offer a good view of the court, but will not give fans that perfect center court view like the Piedmont Club seats. However, these seats are more affordable and don't have many rows, making it easier to get in and out of the seats. We recommend sitting in sections 209, 213, 235, and 239, as these sections will be the closest to having a center court view.

  • Floor Risers (Basketball) Seating

The Floor Risers are going to be the closest sections to the court at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. While the view will be behind the basket, these seats might be tough to beat since they are so close to the court. However, fans will need to be prepared to pay up for these seats, as these will be the most expensive lower level seats for a basketball at the stadium.

  • Lower Baseline (Basketball) Seating

For fans looking to get a seat in the lower level, the Lower Baseline sections at Mercedes-Benz Stadium might be the most affordable. The baseline seats are not going to give fans that great center court view, but they are the cheapest in the lower level.

These sections have lots of seated rows and not to mention the Floor Risers sections in front of them. The view will not be the greatest since the sections are behind the basket, but for fans looking to get closer to the action these seats could be a more affordable option.

  • Lower Corner (Basketball) Seating

Sitting in the Lower Corner Sections at Mercedes-Benz Stadium might be the best value seats for a basketball game. These sections will not have the great sideline view, but they also won't be directly behind the basket like the baseline seats. The viewing angle is different, but fans will still have a decent view of all the action.

Something to keep in mind is that the Lower Baseline Seats extend closer to the court and the Floor Risers are even closer to the court. The Lower Baseline and Floor Risers could impede on a fan's view, so we recommend looking for seating in the higher rows to get the extra elevated view.

  • Lower Sideline (Basketball) Seating

The Lower Sideline sections at Mercedes-Benz offer great views to take in all the action, but they are not as expensive as the Lower Club Seats. If you are looking to get a sideline view and not pay Club Seat prices, then the Lower Sideline seats are a good choice.

  • 200 Level Corner (Football) Seating

The best deals on the 200 level of Mercedes-Benz Stadium are found in the corner sections. Based on Falcons season ticket prices, these seats are roughly 30% less expensive than adjacent sections on the same seating level. And although they're not located along the sidelines, these corner sections still offer great views and some of the most comfortable sitelines in the stadium.

As with all sections on the second level, there are 12 rows in each of these sections with row 1 located at the front and the concourse located at the last row. For the best overall experience, we suggest grabbing tickets in rows 4-7 where you'll get an excellent view and have great access to concourse amenities.

While sections in each corner of the stadium will provide comparable views of the field, we recommend sections 217-221 for their additional views of downtown Atlanta. These sections are located across from the Window to the City and provide glimpses of the surrounding landscape. As an added bonus, these sections are close to the open-access lounge area near sections 222-226.

  • 200 Level Endzone (Football) Seating

When looking at the Falcons seating chart, the only endzone seating available on the 200 level is in sections 222-226 on the west side of the stadium. These sections don't give you the popular midfield view like club seats on the same level, but they do offer a video-game-like view of the field at a fraction of the price. Many fans prefer this down-the-field look as it makes it easier to see plays develop. If this is your desired view, it doesn't get any better than this spot on the 200 level.

Besides for a unique view of the game, these seats are located in front of the 200 Concourse Lounge. This area promises a high-tech experience with incredible views. The lounge will feature a number of televisions and additional space for fans to socialize. From the lounge you'll be able to see all the way through to the Window to the City.

  • 200 Level Sideline (Football) Seating

At the Georgia Dome, all sideline seating on the 200 level was part of the Verizon Club. At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, only the center-most sections are club seating. This will allow fans to enjoy the excellent sitelines of the 200 level without paying the high-ticket price associated with club seats.

The best of these non-club sections are 209,213, 235 and 239. Each of these sections straddle the 30 yardline and give fans some of the best views in the stadium. As an added bonus, these are the smallest sections in the entire stadium. With fewer seats per row, fans will be able to easily get in-and-out without disturbing other guests.

No matter where you sit in these 200 level sections you should expect an excellent view of the field from the perfect elevation. There are only 12 rows in each section with row 1 located at the front and the concourse entrance located at the last row.

  • 300 Level Endzone (Football) Seating

Among the cheapest tickets for a Falcons game are those located in sections 323-328 on the top deck of the stadium. Despite their lower ticket price, fans who enjoy an endzone view will be particularly fond of rows 1-8 in these sections. These lower rows hang over the 200 level and provide a similar view to what you would get from sections 222-226. While there are better views available along the sideline, these promise to be some of the best upper level endzone seats in the NFL.

As you venture up into one of the higher rows in these sections, you'll find a less-impressive view of the field but a good view of the city and a more comfortable view of the halo videoboard. One small perk of these sections is that the concourse tunnel is located near row 8. So even in one of the highest rows, you have fewer stairs to walk than fans in a similar row along the sideline.

  • 300 Level Sideline (Football) Seating

The best way to get a great view at M-B Stadium on a budget is to sit in the sideline sections on the 300 level. Each of these sections offers an unobstructed birds-eye view of the field and one of the best views of the 360 degree halo board.

Each of these upper level sections contains 26-35 rows of seats with row 1 located at the front of the section and the concourse tunnel at row 4. With as many as 30 rows of stairs to walk to reach the top row, we recommend spending a few extra dollars to get the lowest row possible - even if it means being slightly off-set from midfield.

As with 100 level and 200 level sections near the goal line, upper deck sections like 335 and 336 are perfectly angled to allow for comfortable views of both ends of the field. While sections at midfield will be the preferred target for most, sitting in one of the first 5 rows of of sideline sections closer to the goal line will provide some of the best value.

One of the more distinctive features of the upper level is the 100 Yard Club on the concourse. This area is open to all guests and will feature a number of televisions, multiple bars and is designed to allow fans to socialize and move freely through the concourse.

  • Lower Corner (Football) Seating

One of the best values at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is corner seating on the 100 level. These seats offer good sitelines to the field and are priced at a fraction of the cost of adjacent sideline seating.

Each section has more than 40 numbered rows of seats with lower-number rows closer to the field and higher-number rows closer to the concourse. Seats in the first 15 rows will give you one of the best views of the near endzone and you'll be one of the first fans to see if the ball crosses over the goal line. Unfortunately, sitting in one of these lower rows can make it difficult to see action that moves towards the opposite goal line.

If you don't mind sitting up from the field, consider rows 30 and higher where you'll get a comfortable view of both ends and you'll have fewer stairs to walk to get concessions.

  • Lower Endzone (Football) Seating

When looking at endzone seats for a football game at M-B Stadium, there are two distinct options. The first is Sections 117-121 on the west side of stadium. These are more traditional endzone sections with roughly 40 rows of seats in each section.

Behind the east endzone are sections 101-103 and 135-136. Sections 101-103 are the largest sections in the stadium with up to 60 rows of seats in each section. The upper rows of these sections are the cheapest lower seats for a Falcons game and are more steep than the rest of the stadium. This is expected to help keep the noise from traveling out and create a loud environment in these endzone seats.

Another feature of the east endzone is access to the main plaza above sections 134-136. From there fans will find the window to the city and an excellent view towards downtown (sitting in the higher rows of sections 117 and 118 will also give a direct view through the window). This area is expected to be a popular place for fans to congregate on before the game and during halftime.

  • Lower Sideline (Football) Seating

While the best lower level sections at M-B Stadium are club seats with a relatively high price-tag, adjacent non-club sections along the sidelines still offer an above-average experience.

The most distinctive characteristic of these sideline sections inside the 20 yardlines is their angle towards the field. Comparable seats in most NFL stadiums have poor sitelines and require you to turn your head to see towards the far endzone. But at the new home of the Falcons, these sections are generously angled - giving fans excellent views to both ends.

All rows in these sections are numbered, with row 1 always being closest to the field. Unless you want to be as close to the field as possible, we recommend sitting in row 25 or above. The added elevation of these seats makes the view even more comfortable, and sitting in a higher row will result in shorter walks to and from the concourse.

  • 100 Level Corner (Soccer) Seating

If you're a fan of corner kicks, sections like 115 and 116 are an ideal spot to purchase tickets. These seats are expertly angled towards the field and offer impressive views of set plays at the near goal.

Each corner contains two two primary corner sections (sometimes labeled "goal"). When looking at these sections, pay close attention to the row you'll be sitting in - especially if you want to sit near the front row. This is important because row 6 is the first row in some of these sections and row 11 is the front row in other sections.

If sitting near the front row isn't as important, you'll find that the section entrance is near the top row. You can save money by sitting in one of these higher rows and enjoy shorter walks to concessions and comfortable views of the pitch.

  • 100 Level Endline (Soccer) Seating

Endline seating on the lower level is available in sections 117-121 (seating on the opposite endline is reserved for supporters). These sections give fans an opportunity to see plays develop like an attacker does and to keep a close eye on the goalkeeper.

The first row of seating in each of these endline sections is Row 10. Despite being the first row in the section, this row is elevated above a premium area located at field level. Never-the-less, tickets in rows 11-20 are often priced significantly higher than the rest of the section.

If you're considering one of the higher rows in this area, you'll be happy to know that the section entrance is located at row 40. Sitting close to this row will shorten your walks to and from the amenities on the concourse. We prefer rows 30-39 where you'll be less distracted by fans entering and exiting the section.

  • 100 Level Sideline (Soccer) Seating

The best 100 level seats for soccer at M-B Stadium are almost exclusively club seats. Sections 108-112 and 126-130 straddle the midfield line and are considered premium seating with big pricetags.

Meanwhile, adjacent sections like 124 and 125 offer a less expensive alternative for fans who still wish to sit along the sideline in the lower level. In some cases, tickets in these sections are 80% cheaper than tickets in the adjacent clubs.

While you won't enjoy all-inclusive experience of premium seating, you will still have an opportunity to be close to the action while enjoying a quality view. Each of these sections is slightly angled towards midfield to limit the amount of head-turning required to watch the game move from goal-to-goal.

Each of these sections contains roughly 40 rows of seats with the entrance to each section located at the top row. Whether you're sitting in 106/107 or 131/132, the experience will be pretty comparable. The only major difference is that the player benches are located on the 124/125, 131/132 side of the field.

  • 200 Level Goal (Soccer) Seating

If you prefer smaller crowds and don't mind being a little farther back from the field, goal seats on the 200 level may be right for you. With just 12 rows, these are the smallest sections in the stadium. This means fewer people and no long walks up and down the stairs.

These seats are available behind either goal with no real difference. However, sections 201 and 247 are close to the lower level Supporters section, which gives these seats a little more atmosphere.

Sections across from the Supporters - 222-226 - get a great view of the hometown fans and their organized cheering.

  • 200 Level Sideline (Soccer) Seating

For fans looking for great value at an Atlanta United game, consider sitting in one of the sideline sections of the 200 level. If you can do without the amenities of the club seats, you can often save 50% or more by sitting in one of these sections.

These sections are directly adjacent to more expensive club seating, and offer a similar, elevated view of the pitch. When the action is moving quickly from goal-to-goal, you'll have a comfortable view without feeling too far removed.

Each of these sections contains 10-12 rows of seats with the entrance to each section at the last row. No matter which row you sit in, you will have easy access to the Level 2 concourse, and its concessions and other amenities.

Simply put, when club ticket prices are too expensive, this is our favorite place to sit.

Best Seats for Great Views of the Field

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Seating - RateYourSeats.com (15)

As the NFL's newest venue, Mercedes-Benz Stadium promises a fan experience unlike any other. Concession prices are among the lowest in the NFL, the stadium contains a number of areas to hang out and there are loads of activities located on the concourses (hole in one golf challenge, anyone?). While the stadium is a stand-out in regards to keeping fans entertained, it's simply OK as it relates to watching a football game.

Best Views in the Lower Level

As has been the trend in the NFL recently, MB Stadium utilizes the most desirable seats (sideline sections in the lower level) as club seats. Sections 105-112 on the Falcons side and 126-130 on the visitor side come with premium amenities and exclusive access to a (very nice) lounge below the seats. Unsurprisingly, these sections also contain the best views in the lower level.

Within these club sections, rows 20-35 get the best marks for a good view of the field. Despite the relatively flat seating bowl, these rows easily provide enough elevation to see over the players. They also provide enough elevation to see over fans spilling out of the tunnels near row 8. Access to club sections is limited, and many confused fans step out of the tunnel without a clue where to turn. This will get better over time as season-ticketholders get acclimated with their seats, but it will still be a game-to-game annoyance for those sitting near row 8.

Among other lower level seats, the sitelines are rather disappointing. On the seating chart the sections show a sharp angle towards midfield, but this seems exaggerated once you actually sit in the seats. The best views we could find are in rows 36-44 of sections adjacent to club seats (like 106, 107, 113 and 114). The elevation made the sitelines more comfortable, and looking up at the halo board is not as taxing as it is in a lower row.

Perfect Elevation in the 200 Level

Unlike the Georgia Dome which utilized the second level for club seats, there are only a limited number of club seats on the 200 level. These are located between the 30 yardlines (again, taking up the best views), but there are still plenty of other great spots to sit.

The best views are in sections 208-214 and 234-240 where you'll get a sideline view at the perfect elevation. But if you're looking for something less expensive, consider the corner-most sections. Our favorites include 219, 220, 228 and 229. These sections have the stadium's best sitelines to midfield and the 200 level's best view of the halo board. We recommend these sections over just about anything on the 300 level and most non-club seats on the lower level.

Best Views of the Halo Board

The most contentious area of the stadium is the 300 level. So much has been made of the stadium's halo boards, and these seats have far-and-away the best views of the videoscreens. Unless you're sitting in the very top rows (where the boards cut off just a bit), you're getting an excellent 360 degree look at stats, replays and social media updates. In most stadiums there is rarely a benefit to sitting in the upper deck, but at MB Stadium the advantage is clear.

Of course, the easy views of the halo board are a result of the height of the upper level. The stadium includes three rings of suites that wrap around most of the seating bowl. In turn, the upper level is high above the playing surface and views of the field are sacrificed. We can't say that any seats will give you a "great" view of the field - they're just too far away.

Rows 20-35 in Sections Club 108, Club 109, Club 110 and Club 111

  • Club seating with the best views from the lower level
  • Rows 20 and above allow you to see over the players and over the fan traffic spilling out of the tunnel at row 8
  • Access to the field where you can get a unique view from just a few feet behind the players

Rows 36-44 in Sections Section 106, Section 107, Section 113 and Section 114

  • Best views of the field from a non-club seat
  • Elevation of the seats gives you a better angle to both ends (and keeps you closer to the concourse)
  • Best views of the halo board from the lower level come from the highest rows

Sections Section 202, Section 203, Section 219 and Section 220

  • Perfect angle for seeing the field comfortably
  • Better views of the field that lower level sections directly below
  • One of the better views of the halo board on the 200 level

Sections Section 208, Section 209, Club 210 and Club 211

  • Located at the ideal height for watching football
  • Sideline seating between the 15-yardlines
  • Small sections make for quick and easy trips to the concourse
