  1. #12 Best College Campuses in South CarolinaUniversity of South Carolina BeaufortBluffton, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.63 out of 5 501 reviewsSophom*ore: Wonderful professors, especially in the Psychology department. Plenty to do on Bluffton campus if you have friends and leave your dorm room: tennis courts, gym is nice, Student Life and other student org events are great, etc! Dining hall food is pretty good on most days as well, decent selection. Students aren't very motivated and career-driven on Bluffton campus besides Nursing students. Student Success Center is very helpful and advisors and counselors are lovely. Almost all faculty and professors are kind and truly dedicated to the success of students.... 3. Savannah College of Art and DesignSavannah, GA·4 Year·Rating 3.86 out of 5 3,495 reviewsFreshman: Savannah College of Art and Design is a great college with fantastic resources to help you further your artistic career. The professors are kind, the other students have wonderful and unique insights, and plenty of school-sponsored activities that allow you to talk to industry professionals and get insight into what it's like to create art for a living. However, the largest drawback to the college itself would be the price. It's a very expensive institution and while this does contribute towards supplies and transportation for students I think it's too much for how much extra things you need to purchase for your classes. As I'm writing this review I'm dealing with the reality that I very well may need to transfer to a different school after my freshman year as I just can't afford it. However, if you're able to manage the price SCAD is a wonderful institution where you'll make incredible connections, learn industry insights, and hopefully gain work experience....
